Celebrate World Oceans Day with Murdoch University

In celebration of World Oceans Day Murdoch University is hosting an event for Year 9 & 10 students on the 31st May 2019.

The event will be packed with hands on activities, presentations from student researchers and special guests including real shark and ray specimens, brought into the lab by our Marine Biologists.

We are also fortunate to show students a close up view of theResearch Vessel Investigator, live, on the second International Indian Ocean Expedition as our marine researchers, and world renown partners CSIRO and more, sail 900kms off Exmouth.

Following on from the day, there will be an opportunity for students and schools to enter Murdoch University’s Oceans Challenge.

Places are limited. To RSVP and find out more contact me on Vanessa.McGuiness@murdoch.edu.au
