Exploring Marine Life through Art

Come visit the L.C.Bates Museum Marine Gallery! Exploring Marine Life through Art will provide a fun STEAM learning experiences for families as they learn about the different animals that live in the ocean. After a tour of the saltwater animals, from spounges to a marlin caught by Hemingway and from star fish to corals, participants will create their own marine art. They can draw the marine life, make fish prints and create shell art. We will also look at the endangered species in the collection to learn how we can protect them.
