Junior Ranger Beach Cleanup

 

To celebrate World Oceans Day, come down to Ricketts Point Marine Sanctuary and help do your bit to fight ocean pollution. Learn about marine debris while you clean up the beach and sort through your finds to provide vital data on where the litter is coming from.

This activity is suitable for persons aged 6 and over, minors (Under 18s) must be accompanied by a parent or guardian aged 18 or over.

Please bring YOUR OWN GLOVES, water, sunscreen, insect repellent, and wear enclosed shoes and clothing appropriate for the weather.

Rubbish bags will be provided.

Meet down at the Beaumaris Lifesaving Club. Please note all foreshore parking is ticketed. Street parking opposite the sanctuary is available within a short walk of the activity meeting point.
